Ledgerbound Tier List (Provisional)
Pre-launch rankings from marketed roles and demo playtests—not gospel until patches settle.
Read this first: Every rank on this page is provisional. Ledgerbound launches on Steam August 11, 2026 (delayed from July 14). OmniMegaSuperCorp’s festival demos exposed only slices of the roster, promotion economy, and Vacari scaling. This tier list combines marketed combat roles, A.R.T.E. element coverage, and playtest romance popularity—not datamined launch stats.
When post-release patches land, expect large moves. Until then, use tiers to plan evenings and party slots, not to dismiss characters you enjoy.
Tier definitions
| Tier | Meaning (provisional) |
|---|---|
| S | Reliable in demo combat loops or heavily marketed as a core carry; strong element value |
| A | Consistent role with minor gaps—needs camp investment or pair support |
| B | Situational pick; fine with synergy listed in Party Builds |
| C | Niche or insufficient demo evidence; romance-only investment for now |
Popularity tier (separate) tracks festival buzz and voice writing, not DPS.
Combat tiers (provisional)
These roles abstract demo units and marketing materials without naming every unreleased recruit.
S tier (combat)
- Rayna (adjuster / hero hybrid) — Player avatar with tutorial priority and flexible positioning; always on team by design. Strong tutorial support and narrative resources make her the baseline against which other units measure opportunity cost.
- Primary Plant finisher archetype — Demo previews emphasize Plant attackers for cleaning Fire-aligned Vacari clusters when Water setup is present. Marketed as promotion-track DPS.
A tier (combat)
- Water support / control — Water beats Fire; control pieces that enable Plant finishers show up in every stable demo clear. Loses S only because full-game enemy mixes are unknown.
- Fire breaker archetype — Fire beats Plant; needed when Eldarra maps spawn Plant-heavy waves. Slightly map-dependent.
- Frontline sigil holder — Compact maps reward a tile body who activates sigils without dying to counter-elements.
B tier (combat)
- Secondary ranged pressure — Useful when main finisher is blocked, but duplicates element without adding certificates.
- Promotion-gated trainee — Strong in later demo arcs after corporate swag unlocks; weak before camp investment.
C tier (combat)
- Uninvested favorite — Any unit with zero training evenings because camp time went to romance elsewhere. Not a character flaw—a scheduling outcome. Fix via Camp Time.
Popularity tiers (playtest romance & writing)
From festival community focus and press highlights—not combat power:
| Popularity | Notes |
|---|---|
| High buzz | Characters featured heavily in romance trailers and demo banter; often prioritized in How to Romance first-play guides |
| Steady interest | Solid scene count in updated March 2026 demo arcs; good second-route picks |
| Wait for launch | Shareholder romance hooks teased but not fully playable in public demos |
High popularity does not guarantee S combat tier. Budget evenings explicitly if you want both story and stats.
Element coverage priority
Before chasing S labels, ensure party-level triangle:
- Water answers Fire
- Fire answers Plant
- Plant answers Water
A “B-tier” unit filling your only Water slot beats an “S-tier” duplicate Plant attacker. See A.R.T.E. detail in Combat.
Demo versus full-game caveats
- Rewind and battle setup from late demos change effective tier by reducing dead turns—not raw stats.
- Romanceable Shareholders expand evening competition beyond field party combatants.
- Steam Deck input quirks in previews may lower perceived tier for units needing precise menu play—verify on your hardware via System Requirements.
Expected post-launch shifts
Watch for tier movement when:
- Vacari immortal recurrence spikes stats mid-chapter
- HULG vouchers unlock gear that flips roles (support → finisher)
- Patch notes from OmniMegaSuperCorp adjust certificate damage
Document your clears and propose edits—this wiki tier list should evolve with evidence, not trailer hype alone.
Build around tiers without trapping yourself
- Pick one S/A carry matching your element gap
- Add one popularity pick if romance is a goal—schedule via Camp Planner
- Fill triangle with Party Builds templates
- Revisit this page after August 11, 2026 launch week

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Ledgerbound players.
Is this Ledgerbound tier list official?
No. It is a provisional wiki tier list based on marketed roles, festival demo combat, and community romance popularity until full-game data exists.
Why label tiers provisional before launch?
Ledgerbound delayed to August 11, 2026 for polish. Demo rosters and balance do not represent the complete Vacari campaign.
Do romance favorites rank higher in combat?
Not automatically. Popularity tiers note playtest buzz; combat tiers judge A.R.T.E. utility and role flexibility separately.
When should I revisit this list?
After launch week patches and once you reach mid-game Vacari spikes described in [Combat](/combat/).
Where are full party examples?
See [Party Builds](/builds/party-builds/) for element-complete comps using these roles.
